In a massive experiment spanning across all of the top floor of KUMU art museum, Merike Estna is both the artist and the curator. This is partly a solo exhibition by Estna, and partly an exhibition where she invited a wide range of visual artists. Usually paintings are limited to the area of the canvas. Here the paintings float out and cover the walls and the floors, the paintings intertwine in each other, and suddenly the viewer is also a part of the paintings. This is a great experience, a shock to the senses, and a thrill for the explorer. Trying to make sense in what is art and what is not, what is made by Merike Estna and what is made by the other artists, where one painting stops and another starts, becomes impossible. I am no longer a visitor, a viewer, but I have become a part of the whole artwork.
